Requirements: · Experience of Logikal software. · Knowledge of Senior Architectural Systems, Metal Technology systems preferred. · Knowledge of fabrication, production, glass and installation. · The ability to accurately ‘take-off’ drawings and specifications. · Produce high value tenders covering all aspects of curtain walling, windows and doors. · Ability to maintain & develop professional relationships with clients. · You should be confident, reliable and a team player. · Excellent time management and negotiating skill are required · Self-motivated with the drive and enthusiasm to succeed · Experience in the construction industry is a necessity to understand construction tender drawings. · Strong knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel

This well-established Colchester based company are seeking a Windows and Doors Estimator to work an office based role in Colchester. They work across Essex and Suffolk from their Head Office, Showroom and installation depot based on the Severalls industrial estate. They take pride in their reputation and trade in high end PVC and aluminium windows and doors, working on a variety of new build and commercial properties, residential and bespoke designs. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Estimator from within the windows and doors industry who can utilise their skills and earn a starting salary of around £23,000 to £25,000 per annum and be part of a very successful company. Job Description: Experience as a windows and doors estimator is essential. This is an office based role but you will at times be speaking and liaising with customers face to face and over the phone. You will be working as part of a small, enthusiastic team but also given the freedom to work using your own initiative to work by yourself on certain projects. Experience using Windows Designer is preferred but not essential. Once you are competent in your role you will also receive 2% of all sales which is an unlimited cap, so gives you a real chance to earn a lot more in this exciting role.
