Drylining Estimator Location: Midlands (Office-based) Salary: 55,000 - 65,000 We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established interior fit-out specialist with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality drylining, suspended ceilings, SFS, partitions and interior finishing packages across the commercial construction sector. With continued growth, a strong pipeline of secured work and long-standing relationships with leading main contractors and developers, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Drylining Estimator to strengthen its pre-construction team. This is an opportunity to join a financially stable contractor where quality, professionalism and long-term client relationships are at the heart of everything they do. The Role As Drylining Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a range of commercial projects, working closely with the commercial and operational teams to secure profitable new business. Key Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Measure and price drylining, ceilings, partitions, SFS and associated interior packages. Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions. Obtain and assess quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate. Liaise with clients, consultants and the internal project delivery team throughout the tender process. Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings when required. Support successful handovers to the commercial and project teams following contract award. About You You'll already have estimating experience within drylining or interior fit-out and be confident pricing projects from first principles. Ideally you'll have: Proven experience estimating drylining and interior fit-out packages. Strong understanding of commercial construction. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Good knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
