We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading property services contractor delivering social housing maintenance, planned works, and retrofit projects across Birmingham and the wider Midlands region. Client Details Our client are a well known Housing Maintenance Contractor based in the Midlands looking for a Senior QS to play a key role in the commercial delivery of high-profile housing projects, taking responsibility for both pre and post-contract commercial activities while supporting the successful delivery of programmes designed to improve and upgrade residential housing stock. Description Lead and support the commercial management of social housing maintenance and retrofit contracts. Prepare and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), forecasts, and progress reports. Manage project costs, value recovery, cash flow, and commercial reporting. Agree valuations and maximise project profitability. Support the preparation and agreement of final accounts with clients and subcontractors. Manage procurement activities and subcontractor accounts from tender through to final account. Experience delivering social housing retrofit projects. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners. A proactive approach to problem solving and commercial risk management. Experience working on SHDF-funded programmes. Knowledge of decarbonisation, energy efficiency, or sustainable retrofit projects.
