Key Responsibilities: In line with the JIB Electrical Improver grading, the post holder will: Assist with the installation, modification, and maintenance of electrical installations under supervision. Carry out electrical work in accordance with instructions provided by an Approved Electrician or Supervisor. Assist with containment installation, cable pulling, glanding, terminating, and fixing electrical components. Use basic electrical tools, equipment, and materials safely and correctly. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions with guidance. Support inspection and testing activities, including preparing installations for testing. Identify and report faults or hazards to supervising electricians. Comply with the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), health and safety legislation, and company procedures. Maintain good housekeeping standards on site. Accurately record work completed and materials used when instructed. Engage professionally with team members, site management, and clients.
