Electrical Construction Manager - Date Centre An exciting new role has come up for an Electrical Construction Manager for a Data Centre in Hertfordshire. We are looking for a proven electrical supervisor that has experience with laptop-based software(Word, Excel, PDF, Outlook) sending/receiving emails and keen to progress their career to project management but currently mostly supervisor based. That being said, a proven electrical construction manager will also be considered for the role. If the candidate has their testing and inspection course and is able to carry out fixed wire testing, that'll be beneficial to the project. Bmsl require a Mechanical Supervisor in Manchester The duties are: * Participate in weekly M&E meetings raising actions & items for both Mount Anvil & MEP Sub contractor. * Comment on sub-contractor financial variations & assist the Quantity Surveyors when required. * Manage new power, gas, water and telecoms services to site * Keep up to date with the Mount Anvil online document control systems – Aconex * Monitor and comment on M&E progress on site. * Drive the construction installation in order to progress the MEP installation * Drive the MEP installation and assist Briggs & Forrester in providing MEP dependency schedules & Mount Anvi with closing out dependency schedules. * Undertake QA checks at all relevant stages of the Mechanical & Electrical installations compiling detailed & comprehensive records of the QA Process. * Undertake a “Daily Diary” detailing sub-contractor operative numbers, works undertaken on said day, possible delays to works & taking pictures to document progress across the project. * Undertake M&E snagging * Review subcontractor RAMS * Assist the design team to close out any technical queries to ensure drawings & technical submissions progress smoothly through the workflow. * Review test results/commissioning results for compliance against relevant British Standards/codes of practice/commissioning guides. * Review works on site to ensure a high level of workmanship is achieved and compliance with all relevant British Standards/Guides are adhered to. * Review & Sign off MEP related RAMS. * Any other MEP related Ad-hoc duties as specified by the Principal Contractor, Mount Anvil. Falcon Green are working with a market-leading Principle Contractor who are recruiting a Electrical Manager to be based on a Commercial project in East London. They are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical. The successful candidate will join an already established team on the construction phase of this project. The project has a mechanical and electrical installation and has a project value in excess of £30 million. Electrical Manager Responsibilities: * Management of Site QA, specifically with regards to the Electrical package including setting up, management and closeout of file * Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Project team, consulting Engineer and Client requirements. * Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
