Mechanical Site Supervisor Dartmouth Permanent or Freelance A growing M&E contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee mechanical building services installations on a project in Dartmouth. The company delivers mechanical and electrical packages across a range of commercial, residential, education, healthcare and industrial projects throughout the UK. Due to a strong workload and continued project wins, they are seeking an individual who can take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of mechanical works on site and help drive projects through to successful completion. This opportunity is available on either a permanent or freelance basis. For freelance professionals, the role offers long-term continuity of work and the potential for future projects upon completion. The Role Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will be responsible for supervising mechanical installation works on site, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements. Following Global and Divisional inductions, you will complete a structured 12-week training programme combining structured learning, supervised on-site audit experience, and shadowing. The role of Working Foreman This is a full-time hands-on role as a working foreman and although the business is based in the North West our clients and contracts are all over the UK. The role is a hands-on one that involves managing and leading the installation of our clients' turnkey projects onsite, which are predominantly for care homes, hospitals and SEN schools. You will need to take great pride in your work as our standards are always high. You should have extensive experience and knowledge off working on similar contracts, some of the desirables would be experience of some or all of the following:- installations of waterproof floor and wall membranes, wet floor formers and associate drainage, proficient and good understandings of electrical & plumbing systems, installation of specialist equipment, good joinery/carpentry skills, setting out, internal Doors/Frames, Studwork, Dry lining, Decorating/finishing and all other general areas of construction. Electrical Supervisor required. Our client a large main contractor who self deliver M&E works are looking for an experienced Temporary Site Services Electrical Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance and safe operation of temporary electrical services across construction sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a electrical supervisor with strong knowledge of temporary electrics who can manage site teams, coordinate installations and ensure all works are completed safely and efficiently.
