Linsco Recruitment are working with a main contractor in Leeds and have a requirement for a Site Manager to join a busy team on a 300-unit high-rise residential project in Leeds. As Fa ade Manager you will be responsible for the external elements for the build including SFS, Waterproofing and Brickslip Fa ade. The role: Plan and manage the fa ade package activities, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, managing fa ade teams and subcontractors, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Ensure all fa ade package activities comply with health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe working practices are followed. Monitor external packages to ensure they meet technical specifications and design requirements. Oversee costs associated with activities, track budgets, and take corrective actions to avoid cost overruns. Address and resolve issues that arise during the build, including technical challenges, delays, or material shortages. Maintain accurate records of progress, quality inspections, daily site reports, and any variations to scope. Required: Previous facade manager experience essential Main Contractor Experience and large developments SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS are essential. Facade Manager - West London A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Facade Manager to work with one of the UK's leading residential developers In West London. This opportunity is for someone to provide a high level of support to our clients Regional Facade Manager in overseeing the cladding packages. These include - GRC, SFS windows, precast concrete balconies, rainscreen cladding, structural steel works and curtain walling. The project is a leading £800 million + development in the heart of West London. You will be working on the scheme's flagship project, a 35-story high end tower (the development is currently on level 7 with 2.5 years left to run). Job Responsibilities - Knowledge and understanding of GRC systems and SFS Windows. A leading global manufacturing company to the construction sector require an experienced Project Designer for this staff position in Birmingham. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Carry out design / detailing to an advanced level utilising AutoCAD. Utilise Tekla at an intermediate level. * Prepare Proposal documents using the in house Infinity software. * Interpretation of architects and structural engineer's drawings. Incorporation of comments as required (external/Internal) * Attend meetings without support and to speak about technical issues and promote the company. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS * A qualification in a technical subject is required. It is desirable that the person has a recognised construction based accreditation; * Be aware of the requirement to work as part of a team. Adopt a flexible approach to workload whilst demonstrating a willingness to take on additional work. Deliver administrative records on time and up to date; * Clearly and concisely express key issues at a level that suits the listener and confidently handle challenges or unexpected issues; * Participation in training and social activities inside and outside the working day and office.
