The Principal Planning Officer will be responsible for contributing to the preparation and delivery of statutory planning policies which requires creativity, knowledge, skill and an awareness of cross-cutting service delivery issues.

Qualifications or Required Experience:
The post holder will:
Hold a degree or diploma in town and country planning and be working towards, or willing to work towards, chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
Have proven written and verbal communication skills
Be numerate and have proven analytical skills
Have a sound knowledge of research techniques
Have a knowledge of data analysis techniques which can be applied across a broad and complex range of environmental and socio-economic disciplines

As Electrical & Construction Project Manager you will be working on construction projects including the fit out of offices, Schools, Hospitals, retail units, shopping malls, leisure and entertainment with values from 200k up to £8 Million.
As the Electrical & Construction Project Manager you will be a highly experience Fit Out Manager with an electrical background and able to manage all aspects of the delivery of the company`s projects in line with their Policy's and processes, paying particular attention to Health and Safety.
Main duties/tasks of job:
* To manage the delivery of all projects in line with policy and processes in accordance with Health and Safety.
* Qualified to BS7671 18th Edition electrical and hold an ECS card, maintain the company`s NICEIC accreditation.
* Manage the ongoing preparation and delivery of Operation & Maintenance Manuals, working with internal resource to achieve same, with particular regard to as built drawings.
* To program projects and in turn deliver them within the agreed timescales - communicating issues as they arise in a positive and timely manner and implementing the response to minimise disruption and delay together with cost.
* To lead the liaison between all parties (internal departments, statutory bodies, Consultants, Sub contractors, Site Operatives and Supervisors and the Senior Project Manager and Account Manager).
* Prepare, develop and deliver Project Health & Safety.

* Ensure adequate supervision, labour and materials are resourced.
* To raise any pertinent questions to the relevant parties regarding the specification or drawings.
* To regularly communicate progress / issues relating to the delivery of projects to the Account Manager and Compliance Officer.
* To take responsibility for ensuring the safety and welfare of all who may come into contact with operations during the construction of any project and to ensure that all relevant statutory requirements are met.
* To attend /chair, project site meetings as required.

My client who is a medium size contractor are looking for an experienced RLO to join the business on temp basis for a project that will initially be 13 weeks.
The works comprises of external repairs and internal flat rewires. The programme duration is over 13 weeks however this is thought is thought to extend once on site.
Duties you will have:
• To carry out resident profiling, identifying vulnerable residents to establish their requirements to produce individual communication plans to allow works to be tailored accordingly if required.
• To be responsible for the organisation and management of all aspects of communication and booking appointments, notifying residents of all major elements of the works and commencement dates, providing contact details and distributing RLO information packs.
• Ensuring that resident communication documents are reviewed, updated and distributed, ensuring high quality and compliance with client and project requirements.
• Prior to works starting, complete property condition and appliance surveys and take photographs when required, explain complaint procedure.
• Ensuring resident's choices where applicable are collated including ballots to communal areas.
• To carry out daily visits residents where work is in progress, keeping residents up dated of the works.
• To record the day to day work on the tracker in individual properties and to co-ordinate with site staff to achieve project targets on time.
• To ensure the health and safety of all residents.
• To attend community events and school visits.
• To collect satisfaction surveys as property handed over and input scores on the tracker to be used for feedback to improve our service.
• The post holder will be expected to adjust their working patterns accordingly as some meetings may take place out of office hours.
