We supply a vehicle with a fuel card. Minimal personal use, tracked, speed limited. We supply a Samsung galaxy note smartphone for calls and our electronic job system. This role would also provide a laptop. Salary is dependent on the candidate and their experience, paying £34k upwards plus overtime. 20 days holiday, plus statutory Working hours are door to door minus 1.5 hours. (half an hour unpaid each way travel, and half an hour unpaid lunch) minimum day door to door is 9.5 hours. Overtime is paid at time and a half, or double time for nights/bank holidays. Overtime is typically worked by all engineers but our fatigue management policies do not allow us to exceed 12-hour shifts except for emergencies. On-call rota is 1 week every 10 weeks approx. This is paid at £125 for the week regardless of any call outs. Minimum call-out is x4 hours. All specialist refrigeration tools are supplied, but hand tools are the responsibility of the candidate. Hand tools include thermometer and multimeter with amp clamp. Drugs and alcohol testing plus railway medical would be required before any official job offer given.

The Role: Within this role you will need: * To manage own workload and to ensure high quality of delivery and commercial viability * To prepare and assist in delivery of a variety of schemes to the required budget and programme and to pre-determined standards * Assist and prepare detailed design and construction information drawings and specifications for procurement of contractors on a variety of schemes * To assist architects with sound technical advice in the development of designs * Assist in providing professional technical services to clients, across a variety of sectors * Ensure through sound management of workload and programmes that financial outcomes are achieved or exceeded * Maintain close relationships with key existing clients and address concerns, to maintain high levels of satisfaction * Ensure compliance with all Quality, Building Regulations, Health & Safety and Environmental regulations and considerations You: Ideally you'll be have/be: * Registration or progressively working towards professional membership of CIAT * Minimum qualification of Diploma in Construction and experience performing a similar role. * CAD Proficient, Photoshop proficient and experience of other Adobe packages (Illustrator and In-Design). Revit experience is an advantage. 3D graphic and visualisation skills would also be beneficial. * Must demonstrate a high standard of technical skills and construction knowledge have experience of preparing specifications and contract documents and must be fully IT literate and numerate. * Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks on projects to deadline and / or budget * The ability to work under direction but to be able to use own initiative when required * Good relationship management with both colleagues and clients * Full driving licence * Be proficient in MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Project etc.) * Maintain annual CPD record to develop / maintain knowledge of industry best practices * Ability to communicate with people in a co-operative and persuasive manner * Excellent presentation skills * Commercially aware and financially astute * Ability to network and to successfully pursue new business opportunities * Experience of developing excellent Client relationships * Comfortable in client-facing situations, ability to influence * Experience working within an ISO 9001 certified environment To apply for this role please send an up to date CV to (url removed) or call Lyndsey for further information.
