The Role As our Quantity Surveyor/Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing, estimating, and managing the financial aspects of multiple groundwork and civils projects from tender to final account. You will work closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure cost-effective delivery and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for residential, commercial, and industrial groundwork projects. Taking off quantities from drawings and specifications. Assessing subcontractor quotes and negotiating terms. Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance. Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts. Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator within the groundworks or civil engineering sector. Strong knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts (or similar). Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in relevant estimating and measurement software.
