Job Role: Technical Services Manager Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + £8,000-£9,000 Car Allowance Building Services Location: Leeds We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join an established and growing building services business. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional with a strong M&E / building services engineering and design background to take a lead role in the technical delivery and coordination of projects from inception through to completion. You will act as the key technical point of contact, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered to the required technical, contractual, regulatory and quality standards. Provide technical direction and develop engineering solutions that meet design, sustainability and compliance requirements. Review and approve RFIs and technical submittals. Establish and maintain design programmes, reporting on progress, risks and key milestones. Ensure building services designs comply with relevant regulations, authorities and contractual requirements. Support fire strategy reviews, CFD studies and other safety-related design validations. Attend project meetings and lead design progress reviews. Support commissioning strategies, ITPs and cause/effect matrices. Ensure installation works are delivered in accordance with the approved design. Monitor final performance assessments against Part L and other regulatory requirements. Identify design changes and variations, including assessment and pricing. Provide regular technical and programme updates to clients, project teams and senior leadership. About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Proven experience within Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering . Strong experience across design and/or project delivery . Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant engineering standards. Understanding of sustainability and compliance requirements. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and technical deliverables. Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with contractors, consultants and internal project teams. Working knowledge of BIM, design software and technical documentation systems . Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
