Position: Project Manager Location: B ristol with hybrid working available Salary: 70-80k (Neg DOE), car/allowance, bonus and excellent benefits package Our Client: Is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. They have over 1,400 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting eight long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances. Project: Working on a number of new water treatment projects across the Bristol Water area. The Role: Report directly to the Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager and your role will be to manage the design, construction, commissioning and putting to work of contracts. Ensure they are completed in the most efficient manner to the specification, within the time required and within the tender estimate without risk to the health and safety of all concerned while ensuring good customer satisfaction Responsibilities: Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to direct and subcontracted work force. Ensuring that the BMS is implemented at all stages throughout the project delivery process, i.e from tender handover to final completion. Maintain good client relationships at all levels. Ensure good relationships are maintained with joint venture partners and suppliers. Ensure sufficient trained personnel are available for the project. Planning projects, including reviewing and approving the Project Execution Plan (PEP), and then monitoring and controlling the delivery of projects. Ensure that appropriately detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared, in place and approved prior to commencement of activities. Ensure at contract completion that all records referred to in the PEP are complete and available. Ensure that all site non-conformities are reported and approximate costs identified. Ensure all commercial aspects of the project are managed in a timely and proactive way giving accurate forecast and estimates. Have detailed working knowledge and experience of project management practices from scheme conception through to end user acceptance. Understand and implement the quality, safety and environmental policies and targets Experience: Essential: Project Management experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry. Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction, commercial, or engineering related discipline. Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to work in close partnership with clients, stakeholders, and end users. Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives. Experience in project delivery Strategic, operational, technical and management skills Knowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally NEC and/or IChemE, with ability to negotiate and administer them. The Role We're looking for a Gas Safe registered Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team, carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems and appliances across multiple sites in Bristol. Day-to-day you'll be: Installing, testing, and commissioning commercial gas appliances (boilers, Ambi rads, overhead radiant tube heaters) Installing associated pipework and controls Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance Diagnosing and repairing faults on commercial gas systems and plant rooms Carrying out routine servicing in line with manufacturer specifications Liaising professionally with customers and providing clear communication Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Building great relationships with clients Hours: 45 hours per week (flexible shifts may include early starts/late finishes) On-call Rota: Approx every 1 in 6 weeks What You'll Need Essential: Full UK Driving License Valid Gas Safe Registration (with domestic and commercial categories) Commercial gas ACS qualifications: CODNCO1, TPCP1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CORT1 CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1 PASMA ticket MEWPs certification Proven experience in commercial environments Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Great communication skills and can-do attitude Desirable: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent) Knowledge of Building Regulations and British Standards Experience with controls and Building Management Systems (BMS) Ready to Apply?
