Role Description
As Senior Project Manager you will lead and deliver the project with responsibility for developing and implementing the delivery strategy. From the design and technical engineering through the procurement and construction phases to final handover.
As the lead on site you will have complete control of the scheme reporting in to the Operations Manager for the region. With day to day tasks including:
The develop, plan, control and execute the project by proactively monitoring and analysing performance at all levels of the project.
Identify resource requirements and support requirements, liaising with both internal and external suppliers.
Ensure the health, safety and environment performance of all operations *
Identify and manage all risks, looking at the opportunities to benefit the project with contingency plans put in place.
Ensure that the project meets the quality KPI's and that corrective management is effectively applied where appropriate

Role Description
As Senior Project Manager you will lead and deliver the project with responsibility for developing and implementing the delivery strategy. From the design and technical engineering through the procurement and construction phases to final handover.
As the lead on site you will have complete control of the scheme reporting in to the Operations Manager for the region. With day to day tasks including:
The develop, plan, control and execute the project by proactively monitoring and analysing performance at all levels of the project.
Identify resource requirements and support requirements, liaising with both internal and external suppliers.
Ensure the health, safety and environment performance of all operations *
Identify and manage all risks, looking at the opportunities to benefit the project with contingency plans put in place.
Ensure that the project meets the quality KPI's and that corrective management is effectively applied where appropriate
Manage, reduce, and drive out unnecessary costs and inefficient activities.
Manage all stakeholder through effective reports and communication both internal and external.
This project is under NEC working on a new Energy from Waste scheme with previous experience on similar projects being an added advantage. The key area with in these type of schemes is the final third ensuring the waste and commissioning meet the required standards. This is the main area of a project losing cost and budget hence prior experience is preferred.
Working on Energy from Waste plants, CHP plants, Biomass or any power generating plants that require commissioning would be considered.
Required Experience

Formal qualification - HNC / HND or Degree
Full driving licence

Role: Project Manager
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 3-4 months
Hours: 50-60hrs/week
Rate: £300-£350/day
Role:
Our client currently has an immediate requirement for a Project Manager to run a small-medium pipework installation project on a major power station construction site. The role will involve managing the whole package of works and duties will include:
* Initial procurement of materials and equipment
* Completing paperwork
* Issuing permits
* Organising and running tasks on site
* Running toolbox talks
* Conducting progress meetings
* Ensuring Quality and HSE requirements are met and adhered to
* Travelling to client offices to meeting with project team when required
* Managing a small pipework installation team
* Handover with client on completion of project
Requirements:
* SMSTS certificate
* HNC/HND qualification or equivalent
* NEBOSH certificate
* CSWIP certificate
* Previous experience of managing mechanical installation projects on power station sites
