Bench Joiner Flitwick, Beds Salary: Dependant on experience We are a highly respected joinery manufacturer and fit out specialist with substantial experience of managing projects in commercial, leisure and high end residential sectors. We are now looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our team in Flitwick. As our Bench Joiner you will undertake assembly of joinery and cabinetry related items and ensure items are finished, sanded, prepared and collated for the next department in line. Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner required on PAYE or self employed basis Specialist construction company who manufacture an array of bespoke joiner products. They are looking to recruit 4 skilled Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join their production team. The Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner will be involved in the manufacture of high-quality furniture products from technical drawings through to final assembly, working closely with design and production teams. Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner will be involved in: Manufacture bespoke and batch-produced wooden furniture to a high standard. Interpret technical drawings and production specifications. Work from CAD drawings and liaise with design teams where required. Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently. Assemble, fit and finish furniture products ensuring excellent quality standards. Assist with prototype development and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Work closely with production colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time. Support quality control processes and ensure products meet customer specifications. Cabinet Maker / Bench should have: Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, Furniture Maker or similar. Background within a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical and manufacturing drawings. Good understanding of woodworking machinery and production processes. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive and proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.

REQUIREMENTS OF BENCH JOINERS/CABINET MAKERS Must have experience manufacturing high end joinery and cabinetry. Must be located within commutable distance Time served (minimum 3 years) or NVQ in bench joinery or equivalent. Experience in modern woodworking machinery and hand tools. Experience in reading drawings, templates & written instructions. Products are all bespoke and range from sliding sash windows, casement windows, doors, screens and architectural mouldings. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Ability to use problem-solving and critical thinking skills. To be able to work independently or as part of a team.
