Role : Building and Construction Project Manager Location : Belfast - fully onsite Hours : 36 per week Clearance : BPSS required before starting Hourly Rate : 40.44 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 What you'll be doing: Leading client-side construction projects from feasibility and design through to completion and handover. Providing clear leadership and direction to ensure all stakeholders/multi-functional project teams (internal and external) are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain project delivery plans, CAPEX business cases and risk/opportunity registers. Managing budgets, controlling expenditure, and ensuring resources are used efficiently. Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date. Maintaining strong health & safety standards throughout all project activities. Identifying and managing risks, escalating issues where necessary, and implementing mitigation strategies. Building positive working relationships across internal and external teams. Requirements : Education in Construction/Building Services (BSc/HND) or equivalent experience. Hold relevant level of professional membership i.e. CIBSE, IMechE, IET Competence with IT and project tools such as MS Project and GSuite. Demonstrable project management experience within the construction sector. Strong project management skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including PM methodologies and tooling such as SWOT analysis etc. Ability to translate client briefs into robust construction requirements, including scopes of work for external professionals. Strong client-side experience within a project management position Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems, their design, operation and lifecycle. Strong understanding of the full construction lifecycle and processes. Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety practices. Ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels. Highly organized, proactive, and capable of providing strong leadership. Collaborative team player who can integrate effectively into an established project management team. M&E Site Manager Would you be interested in working in London as an M&E Site Manager, if so this may be the job for you. The opportunity has arisen to join a main contractor that provide flights and accommodation, travelling from Northern Ireland on a fortnightly basis. The successful candidate would receive a further allowance on top of salary of up to circa 800 a month if travelling on a fortnightly basis. Site Manager required to look after the MEP on a design and build 690 bed hotel in London. Based on site full time the successful candidate will report to the project PM/CM and will work on all aspects of the MEP, implementation, checking of design and install. You will lead on-site sub-contractors, ensure adherence to design specifications, and drive the project to programme. Key Responsibilities: Manage all M&E packages from installation through to commissioning and handover Coordinate M&E subcontractors on a daily basis to ensure programme is met Review technical drawings, specifications and design information, identifying and resolving any issues Sequence coordination with trades Work closely with other managers on site to ensure all round project delivery Oversee commissioning, temp testing and pre commissioning Close out and consultant reports Formulate own progress and snagging reports Requirements / Qualifications Proven track record as an M&E Site Manager, ideally with new build hotel or mixed use residential development experience. Valid certification, CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid Strong technical understanding of mechanical & electrical building services.
