Assistant Site Manager - Kent External Planned Maintenance- Social Housing Up to £45,000 plus package Our Client, a construction contractor are currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their planned works division. Projects that are being delivered will be external planned maintenance projects on a 6 year contract. They are being delivered to tower blocks and scattered properties in Kent. On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties: Management of sub-contractors & direct operatives Lead the site team to the best of your ability Manage delivery of works to specification Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff Pre & post inspections of works Health & safety & quality checks My client are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering external planned maintenance projects. A valid SSSTS or SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required. This role is a temporary position for around 4 weeks. As the Site Manager, you will supervise and manage the contractors undertaking works, ensuring the works are completed in a safe and efficient manner within stated timescales. You will be responsible for management of sub-contractors, inspecting properties pre and post works, taking progress meetings and overseeing the day to day delivery of the programme.
