Assistant Fa ade Manager Role Experience on all Fa ade elements i.e. scaffold, SFS, windows (manufacturer for this project is Nordan), external doors, roofing, balconies, GRC, traditional brick, brick slip systems, architectural metal work etc. Efficient with construction management software programs i.e. Procore. We use tablets on site to record QA so will need to be able to use tablets/android. QA is a major part of the role, will be responsible for completing and recording each stage of the build, ensuring fire barriers photographic evidence etc is captured and recorded, snagging quality and ensuring rectification if applicable etc. IT efficient, use of software programs, Microsoft programs, emails etc required. Good knowledge of design, drawings, details, specifications etc. Be able to interpret design information, detail drawings etc and provide input where necessary. Knowledge on materials used in the various different fa ade elements. Escorting NHBC, Premier Guarantee, Building Control, clerk of works etc during their visits to site and ensuring all works are installed as per the design/spec prior to inspection. Carry out weekly, monthly and quarterly lookaheads to ensure design, materials, labour etc is in hand. Monitor program dates and ensure works are being completed in line with the program requirements. Advise of any program implications as early as possible if applicable. Chair and record weekly co-ordination meetings and daily briefings with the applicable contractors. Be aware of HSE legislation and requirements and ensure these are being adhered to on site. This will involve reviewing/approving work permits, reviewing RAMS prior to commencement of work, ensuring works are being carried out in line with the applicable RAMS, housekeeping is up to the required standard etc. Responsible for collating the QA and handover paperwork related to the facades package. QA tracker to be updated and issued weekly. Updating weekly progress trackers to tracker progress of the works and record any delays etc. Attendance at daily briefings with all contractors and Bennett management to ensure the site runs smoothly and works are being co-ordinated with all involved. Good awareness with H&S standards, housekeeping, work permits etc. Complete daily site diary. SMSTS and CSCS card is mandatory, 1st aid, scaffold awareness, etc preferred but not mandatory.
