This practice specialise within Private Residential and Commercial developments so the successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will be involved with several developments including conversions, extensions and refurbishments. It is essential that the Architectural Technician / Technologist has a minimum of 3 years post qualification, professional experience within a similar position. Key responsibilities include working closely with Architects and other building professionals, prepare and present design proposals, liaise with construction professionals as well as produce, analyse and advise on detailed specifications and construction packages. This practice use AutoCAD on a daily basis so it is essential that the Architectural Technician / Technologist is proficient with this software. I am recruiting for a new exciting opportunity with my client for a fully experienced Architectural Technician/Technologist with good Revit abilities (at least 2 years live projects) to join this Surrey based multi disciplinary practice. Other commutable locations include West Sussex and South London and Gatwick Airport with the express train links is not too far. Joining the Architectural team, you will be part of a growing technical team and will report directly into the Technical Manager. As an experienced Architectural Technician you will be developing drawing packages with the wider team in Revit to deliver on Riba stages 4-5. Knowledge in construction detailing and construction methods especially within various building materials would be highly desirable although not essential. My client are a thriving practice, offering a collaborative approach and work closely with their clients to produce exceptional solutions resulting in a solid base of repeat customers.
