This role requires an individual who has excellent knowledge of building regulations and it is essential that you have good working knowledge of AutoCAD as you will predominantly be working using this software. If successful, your role will involve working on masterplans and producing planning drawings ready for submissions. The projects will be residential and mixed used developments. The most suitable candidate must hold previous work experience of working for a national house builder/developer. The company already has over 65 employees working for them and due to success in winning new work they are looking to expand that existing workforce and recruit an Associate Architectural Technician / Technologist. This opportunity would suit an Associate Architectural Technician / Technologist with excellent knowledge of building regulations, the successful individual will be involved in completing a number of duties including preparing masterplans and producing planning's drawings for submission within the residential and mixed use areas. This role is very much hands-on, so the production of working drawings and technical documents is part of everyday work. In addition, this role requires experience of team management including monitoring of deadlines, managing workload, timescales, carrying out employee reviews as well as ensuring compliance with current legislation.
