The successful Part II Architectural Assistant / Newly Qualified Architect would ideally have previous experience working on a variety of projects and should have good knowledge of the software Revit, however some training can be provided. Work on a range of exciting new build and refurbishment projects within the Science & Research, Healthcare, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Retail sectors
Use Revit on a daily basis
Work across all RIBA stages
Consult with other professionals about design
Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client

Living in a commutable distance of Abingdon
Ideally Revit proficient, would consider 3D modelling experience

The position is with a multi-award winning international practice that specialise in Retail, Leisure, Hospitality, Residential, Office design and large scale mixed-use environments.
The successful candidate will work alongside a Senior Architect across the entire project lifecycle, providing input at the design, planning and construction phases. Besides this, you will be helping to deliver tender packages and carry out detailed design work when necessary.
The successful individual will have a keen interest in design and a strong knowledge of construction, documentation and job running. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and design skills.
Experience of Revit would be a distinct advantage.
The role:
- Involvement in concept development
- Develop, where required, representations of design options for further discussion by the design team.
- Preparation of drawings for planning submission
- Assistance with planning applications, Building Regulation drawings and appeals
- Occasionally assisting with Client Liaison.
- Record evidence of your professional experience in accordance with the requirements of the RIBA
- Cooperate with other members of the design team
- Occasional inspections of building works on site
Requirements
- Revit project experience (1+ years)
- Robust design & technical skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup and Microsoft office.
