A Construction Managers Health & Safety Qualification
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to provide accurate and comprehensive reporting.
Experience of managing projects from compiling the initial proposal, to the handover of completed works.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and completed on time and in budget.
Principal Accountability:
• Health & Safety – overseeing of the H&S policy and procedures whilst working as Principal Contractor
• Site Meetings - chairing and organising meetings
• Construction Management – act as Main Contractor and Clients Representative.
• Cost Control Management – take responsibility for accurate cost control and reporting.
• Project programming - accurately tracking progress and identifying any actions and changes to scope.
• Site Project Management - dealing with sub-contractors and internal resources
• Quality Assurance - constantly monitoring standards and reporting on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Risk Management – introduce controls to minimise project risks

You will be a Senior / M&E Project Manager who is able to demonstrate substantial experience as a project manager, be able to write programmes and attend tender meetings and act as a number one leading teams of project managers and site managers. You will need to have a good overall understanding of the complete project lifecycle and be able to run the project from programming through to final commissioning and handover. You must have excellent client facing skills and be able to deal with the consultants, other contractors and client.

Previous experience of multi million-pound M&E services is a must. Assist and support the M&E coordinator and manager in their day to duties which include the following:
- Support and assist the M&E coordinator and Senior MEP Manager on all site & off- site based work.
- Assist with the day to day delivery of design and build.
- Assist the design teams in the development of design solutions.
- Assisting the manager of Mechanical and electrical site personnel.
- Help with implementing the site safety plan & rules.
- Helping to ensure that employees have the relevant training and expertise to carry out their work safely and professionally.

- Assist with checking all materials before installed to ensure they are fit for use & comply with the project specifications.
- Assisting with the Soft-Landing process.

- Provide technical assistance in programming testing/setting to work/regulation and commissioning of the services including provision of Operating and Maintenance manuals.
