An experienced M&E Project Manager is required to deliver building services projects across London. You'll manage projects from initial scope and planning through to completion, taking responsibility for safe delivery, commercial performance, risk and subcontractor management. This client-facing role covers a varied programme of M&E, fit-out, asset replacement and energy-related works within a facilities management environment. The Role As the M&E Project Manager, you'll: Lead building services projects from scope development through delivery and handover. Deliver M&E, fit-out, asset replacement and energy projects safely and within budget. Manage project programmes, financial plans, revenue, profit, cash flow and invoicing. Identify and manage technical, statutory, operational and commercial project risks. Procure and manage subcontractors while maintaining quality and controlling delivery risk. Build strong relationships with clients, operational teams and supply chain partners. Maintain project controls and compliance with contractual and legislative requirements. Identify opportunities to improve project revenue and commercial performance. About You To be successful as the M&E Project Manager, you'll have: Proven project management experience within facilities management or building services. Experience delivering M&E, fit-out, asset replacement or energy projects. A qualification in project management, building services or an equivalent discipline. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, IT and security installations. Strong commercial experience managing budgets, project costs, risks and subcontractors. Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management and communication skills. A structured approach with the ability to manage competing project priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word. What's in it for You? £55,000 £60,000 annual salary. Permanent position. Building services projects across London. Our client requires an M&E Project Manager for a permanent role in the Reading area: Role: M&E PM (Electrical Bias) Location: London area Salary: £100,000 p/a Projects: Commercial, Industrial, Rail JD: • Manage and coordinate all Electrical services installation and testing from conception to completion of project. • Understand the project and the systems within the project in-depth. • Work closely with the Principal Contractor on a daily basis to build and coordinate an agreed sequence of works for all necessary tasks. • Order materials and equipment whilst following company protocols /procedures. • Direct all site management staff including site supervisor, site engineers, site office staff and store managers. • Manage all Electrical Sub Contractors. • Generate and track RFI s. • Generate and review valuations. • Generate and review all project variations and provide all necessary supporting information. • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. • Analyse, manage, and mitigate risks. • Supervise and manage H&S on site to ensure safety on the jobsite. • Oversee all onsite installations to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. • Ensure contractual conditions of performance are met. • Oversee and manage on site Quality Assurance & Quality Control checks. • Regularly attend meetings as required.
