Handyman/Multi Trader- Purfleet- Refurbish and fit out the complete range of Portakabin modular buildings to the highest possible standards
The work will be to supervise teams who are carrying out work on Portakabin's and will also involve tasks such as Painting, basic joinery tasks inclusive of partition walls, doors, windows etc, Carry out basic plumbing tasks inclusive of sink and toilet assembly, waste and drainage, copper and push fit fittings etc, undertake basic electrics inclusive of sockets, heaters, lighting etc, supporting in the preparation and first fix, under the supervision of an electrician, Assist where required in the general fitting out and refurbishment of Portakabin buildings both on and off site, Assist with the installation/dismantling of all buildings as part of a site team, Assist in the movement of buildings in and out of the yard, Assist the safe movement of vehicles both on and off site.

The work will be to supervise teams who are carrying out work on Portakabin's and will also involve tasks such as Painting, basic joinery tasks inclusive of partition walls, doors, windows etc, Carry out basic plumbing tasks inclusive of sink and toilet assembly, waste and drainage, copper and push fit fittings etc, undertake basic electrics inclusive of sockets, heaters, lighting etc, supporting in the preparation and first fix, under the supervision of an electrician, Assist where required in the general fitting out and refurbishment of Portakabin buildings both on and off site, Assist with the installation/dismantling of all buildings as part of a site team, Assist in the movement of buildings in and out of the yard, Assist the safe movement of vehicles both on and off site.
Candidates need to have a good all maintenance/handyman round knowledge but nothing to in depth
The hours are 0745 to 1630 hours Monday to Thursday and 0745 to 1530 hours on Fridays
Good overtime rates are available and 25 days annual leave + bank holidays with the ability to buy up to 5 days more
