About You We are looking for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant who is confident working within a consultancy environment and keen to continue developing their career. You will ideally have: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline - essential. Previous Quantity Surveying or Cost Consultancy experience. Experience working within a construction consultancy would be highly advantageous. A good understanding of pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying duties. Experience with cost planning, tendering, valuations, variations and final accounts. Strong commercial and numerical skills. Good knowledge of construction contracts and procurement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisation and attention to detail. The confidence to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and consultants. The ability to manage your own workload and multiple project priorities. A proactive and professional approach to your work. What's on Offer? Salary between £40,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Hybrid working available. Maidstone -based position within an established construction consultancy.
