Telehandler Driver - CPCS North Tawton, Devon, EX20 2EB Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm Contract Position: Minimum 4 months leading to further work The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food process industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installation along with planned and preventive maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for Telehandler Driver CPCS to join the company supporting a major project in North Tawton, Devon. Duties As an experienced and suitably qualified Telehandler Driver CPCS you will be working on site at a food production facility in North Tawton, Devon. This is a major contract to remove and re install process pipework and equipment and forms part of a larger construction project. The primary duties will be to safely unload and distribute as necessary; all new process equipment and pipe spools delivered to site. Specific items will include high value pumps, motors, valve sets and one-off pieces of specialist equipment. Other duties will include assisting fitters with basic installation works, typically tightening bolts, painting pipework and installing pipework. Full training will be given for these other aspects of the job. About You Based ideally in North Tawton, Devon you will need to live within a commutable distance of EX20 2EB. Demonstrable experience of operating a rough terrain telescopic forklift with 9m boom. The machine you'll be driving will most likely be a 9.55m Merlo P72.10 Telehandler 7200kg. Current in date CPCS Telehandler with boom licence is required for this role. Interested? Job Title: Telehandler/Telescopic Handler Location: Swindon Pay: 20.00- 21.00 per hour We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Telehandler/Forklift Driver to join a fast-paced residential project in Swindon. You will be working for a leading housing developer on a major new-build scheme. This is a long-term role for a reliable operator who can integrate well with a busy site team and manage the logistics of a large housing development. Responsibilities Safely unloading delivery HGVs and distributing materials (bricks, blocks, timber, trusses) to specific plots for subcontractors. Working closely with bricklayers and carpenters to ensure they have the supplies needed to maintain production. Loading and unloading waste skips and keeping the storage yard organized and safe. Carrying out daily pre-start machine inspections and reporting any defects immediately to the Site Manager. Operating with extreme caution in live areas where other trades and occasionally residents may be present. Qualifications & Experience Required Must have a valid Blue CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) Telescopic Handler ticket. Valid Green or Blue CSCS card is essential. Minimum 2 years of experience operating a Telehandler on a residential/housing site. Must be punctual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
