The Role Working closely with the Pre-Construction Director and wider estimating team, you will support the preparation and delivery of tenders from initial enquiry through to submission and handover. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation of tenders, budgets and cost plans Reviewing tender documents, drawings and project requirements Carrying out manual and digital take-offs Preparing Bills of Quantities Preparing and issuing subcontractor enquiries Obtaining, reviewing and comparing subcontractor quotations Inputting and analysing project costs Supporting the preparation of tender submissions Assisting with the handover of successful tenders to the project team Maintaining the subcontractor database Attending site visits where required Supporting general pre-construction administration and document control About You The ideal candidate will have some previous experience within estimating, quantity surveying, pre-construction or a construction related commercial environment and be keen to develop their career further. You'll need: Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook The ability to read and understand drawings and written information Good communication and organisational skills Strong attention to detail The ability to work to deadlines and manage your workload effectively A proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated approach The ability to work independently as well as part of a team A full UK driving licence Why Join?
