Key Responsibilities: Safety & Compliance: Champion H&S legislation, ensuring all works strictly adhere to approved RAMS. Site Leadership: Deliver high-standard, succinct Site Inductions, Daily Briefings, Tool Box Talks, Short Interval Control meetings, and Task Safety Briefings. Operations & Logistics: Manage site plant, tools, and materials efficiently to minimise wastage. Oversee comprehensive logistics and ensure environmental controls and HSEQ procedures are strictly followed. Quality & Reporting: Ensure rigorous quality control, produce fully comprehensive daily records, provide necessary reports or investigations, and continuously implement improvements. Team Development: Ensure all supervisors are briefed and aligned with company policies, including carrying out 'Black Hat' assessments for all site supervisors. Planning: Collaborate with site teams to develop, monitor, and adjust project programmes as necessary. Demonstrable experience working within the rail and highway environments. Proven experience managing a variety of works encompassing both direct and subcontracted workforces. Site Agent - Water Infrastructure Leatherhead, Surrey Contract Up to £400 per day Outside IR35 (Subject to Determination) 12 Months+ Leatherhead sits at the centre of a well-funded water infrastructure programme, and the delivery team needs an experienced Site Agent who can take ownership of site operations and help the project team hit its targets. This is not a supervisory role in name only, you will be expected to make decisions and keep things moving on a technically demanding programme. What the job involves You will manage day-to-day site delivery across water infrastructure schemes in the Leatherhead area, coordinating subcontractors, reviewing work packages, issuing permits, managing RAMS, and maintaining programme and quality standards throughout. You will work closely with the Project Manager and provide reliable, consistent leadership to the site team below you. NEC contract administration at site level will be part of your responsibility - early warnings, compensation events, and site records all need to be managed properly, and you will be expected to drive that discipline on site.
