Site Manager - Retail Refurbishment Projects
45,000 - 50,000 + Overtime + Company Van + Expenses
North West Based UK Travel Required

We're recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing contractor delivering refurbishment and building works projects across the UK.

This is a varied role overseeing retail and commercial refurbishment projects, including flooring, builders' works and general improvement programmes. The position involves regular travel, occasional working away and some night and weekend work.

The Role

• Managing projects from mobilisation through to completion
• Overseeing site teams and subcontractors
• Managing health & safety on site
• Ensuring works are delivered to programme
• Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
• Liaising with clients and project stakeholders
• Managing site documentation and reporting
• Coordinating labour, materials and plant requirements

Requirements

• Previous Site Management experience
• SMSTS qualification
• Experience within refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance or construction environments
• Strong understanding of health & safety
• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors
• Comfortable travelling and working away when required
• Happy working occasional nights and weekends
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Retail refurbishment or fit-out experience
• Experience working within live environments
• Trade background
• First Aid qualification

• 45,000 - 50,000 basic
