Job Description
A senior opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Manager to take overall commercial responsibility for a growing portfolio of major construction projects across the Netherlands.
With projects currently located in Groningen, Amsterdam and Leiden, this is a strategically important position with responsibility for commercial performance across multiple projects and project teams.
The Role- Take overall commercial responsibility across multiple projects
- Lead and develop commercial teams
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting
- Manage contracts, procurement, change and commercial risk
- Lead commercial negotiations with clients and contractors
- Provide strategic commercial advice to senior project stakeholders
- Drive consistency and best practice across the project portfolio
- Significant commercial management experience within the construction sector
- Proven track record managing multiple projects or a major project portfolio
- Strong contractual and commercial knowledge
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with major construction projects
- International or European project experience would be advantageous
Location: Ideally based in the Netherlands, although flexibility is available for the right candidate. Options could include a rotation-based arrangement or being based from a London office with regular travel to projects across the Netherlands.
