Duties will include: Operating excavators, dumpers, rollers and other plant machinery safely and efficiently Carrying out excavation, digging and levelling works to specification Loading and moving materials (spoil, aggregate, stone) around site Working closely with groundworkers and pipe layers to support ongoing works Carrying out daily pre-use checks and basic maintenance on machinery Reporting any faults, damage or defects with plant to site management Working accurately to levels and instructions provided by the setting out engineer Ensuring safe operation of plant around other site operatives and the public Complying with all site traffic management and banksman procedures Keeping machinery clean, tidy and secure when not in use Requirements: CSCS card (essential) Valid CPCS/NPORS ticket(s) for relevant plant/machinery Proven experience operating construction plant on similar sites Good understanding of site safety and traffic management procedure
