Estimator - Passive Fire Protection Location: Romford Salary: Competitive + Bonus We're looking for an Estimator to join a growing and ambitious Passive Fire Protection business, working with some of the UK's leading main contractors and construction companies . This is a great opportunity for an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step, and we're particularly interested in people who may come from a drylining, M&E, interiors, fit-out or wider construction estimating background . You don't necessarily need to have a passive fire protection background, what matters is strong estimating experience, commercial awareness and a willingness to learn. The Role You'll be involved in a varied mix of estimating and pre-construction work, preparing accurate tenders and quotations, reviewing drawings and specifications, liaising with clients and working closely with the wider commercial and operational teams. Passive Fire Estimator Location - St Helens / North West Salary/Package - Up to 60,000 + Package About the Company Our client is a specialist contractor operating within the passive fire protection sector, delivering fire stopping, compartmentation, fire door, and associated fire protection solutions across a wide range of projects. The business works across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, delivering both project-based fire protection packages and planned/reactive maintenance contracts. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Passive Fire Estimator to strengthen their commercial team. The ideal candidate will be based in the North West and ideally able to work from the St Helens office. However, the business is open to considering an exceptional candidate who is based further afield. The Role As Passive Fire Estimator, you will take responsibility for pricing a range of passive fire protection tenders, ensuring accurate and commercially competitive submissions are produced and successfully handed over to the delivery team. The role: Reporting into the commercial team, you'll be responsible for producing accurate and commercially competitive estimates for a range of passive fire protection projects, primarily covering fire stopping and fire door installation and remediation works.
