Construction Labourer

A growing construction company based in Livingston is looking for a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join its team on a full-time, Contract

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the construction industry and gain experience working across a variety of projects.

As a Construction Labourer, you will provide support to tradespeople and site teams, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

• Assist tradespeople and site teams with day-to-day construction activities.

• Load, unload and move materials around site.

• Prepare tools, equipment and materials for use.

• Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.

• Assist with site preparation and general construction duties.

• Dispose of waste and materials safely and appropriately.

• Support trades such as plasterers, joiners, bricklayers and other construction professionals.

• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.

• Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and correctly.

• Carry out any other general labouring duties as required.

• Previous construction or labouring experience is preferred but not essential.

• A good understanding of general construction site practices.

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work.

• Good attitude and willingness to learn.

• Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Strong awareness of health and safety.

• Professional and positive approach to work.

• CSCS card would be advantageous.

• Full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous.
