The RoleAs a Construction Labourer, you will provide support to tradespeople and site teams, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist tradespeople and site teams with day-to-day construction activities.
Load, unload and move materials around site.
Prepare tools, equipment and materials for use.
Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
Assist with site preparation and general construction duties.
Dispose of waste and materials safely and appropriately.
Support trades such as plasterers, joiners, bricklayers and other construction professionals.
Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and correctly.
Carry out any other general labouring duties as required.
Previous construction or labouring experience is preferred but not essential.
A good understanding of general construction site practices.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work.
Good attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong awareness of health and safety.
Professional and positive approach to work.
CSCS card would be advantageous.
Full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous.
