We are looking for an experienced Technical Pre-Construction / Technical Coordinator to join a rapidly growing specialist construction business. The role will suit someone with a strong technical background who enjoys working through detailed drawing packages, interpreting specifications and ensuring design information is accurate, coordinated and commercially aligned.
Experience within doors, fa ades, curtain walling, cladding, roofing, windows, architectural metalwork or other building envelope systems would be highly advantageous.
Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and technical information.
Analyse complex enquiries and translate requirements into clear technical solutions.
Act as the technical interface between clients, customers and the internal design team.
Coordinate drawings, revisions, approvals and technical submissions.
Ensure drawing revision numbers and technical information are accurately controlled.
Identify technical issues, risks and design requirements at pre-construction stage.
Work closely with the Head of Technical to maintain high technical standards and improve processes.

Ensure technical outputs are delivered accurately, on time and in line with project and commercial requirements.
We are looking for someone who is technically strong, highly organised and exceptionally detail-focused. You will be comfortable reviewing large volumes of technical information and spending time working through detailed drawing packs without losing attention to detail.
You will be:

A strong communicator, both internally and externally.
Comfortable dealing directly with clients and attending meetings.
Confident interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
