Maintain accurate and comprehensive records on housing management systems, ensuring cases and actions are fully documented. Monitor outstanding actions and proactively progress cases through to resolution. Provide a visible and customer-focused housing management service across the organisation's housing stock. Support the identification and resolution of recurring housing management issues and contribute to continuous service improvement. Act as a role model for housing staff , providing guidance, knowledge sharing and practical support to colleagues. Promote consistency, professionalism and best practice across the housing service. Support colleagues with complex tenancy cases and provide advice on appropriate housing management interventions. Work collaboratively with senior management to achieve key housing performance targets and service objectives. Ensure all activities comply with relevant housing legislation, regulatory requirements, organisational policies and procedures. Travel regularly across London to undertake property visits, resident meetings, inspections and other operational duties. Essential Experience Proven experience working as a Housing Officer, Tenancy Manager, Neighbourhood Officer or similar housing management professional . Strong experience managing a substantial residential housing portfolio, ideally 500+ properties . Comprehensive knowledge of tenancy management and housing management procedures . Practical experience of income recovery, rent arrears and tenancy sustainment . Experience managing voids and lettings . Experience of nominations and allocations within social housing. Strong understanding of tenancy enforcement, tenancy breaches and housing-related case management. Experience working within a housing association, local authority or social housing environment . Ability to manage competing priorities and a high-volume caseload effectively. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
