CCTV & Access Control Installation Engineer Location: Central London and surrounding London boroughs Contract: 12+ months We are recruiting experienced CCTV and Access Control Installation Engineers for a long-term security installation programme across Central London and the surrounding boroughs. The work will be undertaken within occupied and operational buildings. Applicants must have proven experience delivering the first fix, second fix, termination and testing of CCTV and access-control systems. Key responsibilities Install cable tray, basket, trunking and conduit in plastic and metal Install and route security cabling Install and terminate CCTV cameras and associated equipment Install and terminate access-control devices and peripherals Label and test completed installations Conduct device power-up checks and functional testing Identify and rectify installation-related faults Carry out basic local commissioning and demonstrate completed systems Work from issued drawings, specifications and cable-route information Report any design discrepancies, clashes or site constraints to the Site Manager Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity and housekeeping Work safely and professionally within live, occupied environments Essential requirements Previous CCTV and access-control installation experience Valid ECS or CSCS card Asbestos Awareness certification Ability to complete first-fix and second-fix installation work Experience terminating, testing and fault-finding security systems Ability to travel between sites across Central London and the surrounding boroughs Copies of relevant qualifications and competency certificates before starting Desirable experience Hanwha CCTV systems Janus C4 Access Control systems Valid IPAF 3A and/or 3B licence Experience using a laptop for CCTV testing and basic commissioning

Network IT is looking for an experienced Security Installation Team Lead to lead the preparation and delivery of technical security systems in secure and government environments, with possible travel overseas. Please note this is a DV Cleared role, and you must be a British Citizen to be considered. Our client is looking for someone with team leadership experience, in the installation of physical and technical security systems, in a high security environment. You will have worked to install the likes of CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, and supporting experience in data / infrastructure cabling. You'll be managing a team of onsite engineers to review design activity, coordinate preparation, site delivery and hands on installation activity. This is a customer facing role, where you will work with customers directly, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Rate: Circa £450 per day Duration: 12 Months Status: Inside IR35 Location: Milton Keynes Working Pattern: Fully Onsite, with possible travel internationally Essential Experience Strong installation experience in one or more of CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, data cabling/infrastructure or electrical/electronic systems. Experience working to government security standards in secure environments. Experience supervising or task managing installation teams. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Level 3 electrical/electronic qualification or relevant equivalent experience. SMSTS or equivalent H&S qualification. Current ECS card at the appropriate competency level. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio and Project. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Willingness to travel overseas.
