You'll also be responsible for monitoring external areas, identifying defects, and carrying out repair works to ensure properties and surrounding environments remain safe and well maintained. The role involves operating and maintaining a variety of tools, machinery, and ground maintenance equipment, ensuring all materials, plant, and equipment are available before work begins. You'll use a mobile device to receive and complete work orders, record completed works, and capture site photographs. Working to agreed timescales, you'll ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service throughout. Health and safety is a key part of the role, and you'll be expected to ensure appropriate PPE, RAMS, certifications, and relevant site information are in place before work commences, helping to maintain a safe environment for residents, colleagues, and the wider public. About You We're looking for someone with previous Groundworker experience who can demonstrate strong knowledge across a variety of external works and repairs along with having fencing and paving experience. You'll be confident working independently, managing your workload effectively, and taking pride in delivering high-quality work right first time. You'll be customer-focused, reliable, and committed to maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and safety. Experience within social housing, repairs, maintenance, or construction environments would be advantageous, along with experience operating plant and groundworks equipment. A Green CSCS Card is desirable, and you must hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.
