They are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to support the finance team, with a particular focus on statutory accounts. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a growing, commercially-minded finance function on an interim basis. We are looking for a commercially minded Interim Finance Business Partner to provide additional support to an established finance team within a growing construction business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or similar, with strong commercial finance experience and a proven ability to partner with operational teams and senior stakeholders. Experience within construction, contracting, engineering, property, or another project-led environment would be highly advantageous, particularly with knowledge of project accounting, WIP, cost-to-complete, contract profitability, revenue recognition and gross margins. The successful candidate will be comfortable working closely with project managers, commercial teams and operational stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and challenging performance where appropriate. Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, project reporting and cash flow management would also be beneficial. This role is primarily about providing additional commercial capacity and expertise to the existing team, supporting with management reporting, financial analysis, project performance, forecasting and ad-hoc finance projects. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, work autonomously and quickly build effective relationships across the business.
