Multi-Trade Operative - Empty Homes Salary: Up to £38,847.17 per annum + van Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Bracknell, covering surrounding areas Contract: Full Time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join an established Empty Homes team, preparing vacant properties for new occupants. Key Responsibilities Carry out a wide range of repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works within empty properties. Complete carpentry, plumbing and general multi-trade tasks. Identify additional repairs and resolve issues proactively. Undertake internal and external works, including communal areas, fencing, gardens and grounds maintenance. Manage your own workload to complete works safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Work alongside colleagues, contractors and supervisors to minimise void turnaround times. Ensure completed properties meet required re-let standards. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, workmanship and customer service. About You The successful candidate will have previous experience in multi-trade property maintenance, ideally within social housing, housing associations, property maintenance or empty homes/voids. You should be: Experienced in multi-trade repairs and property maintenance. Skilled in areas such as carpentry, plumbing and general maintenance. Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload. Able to diagnose problems and identify additional works required. Committed to Health & Safety and delivering high-quality workmanship. Reliable, professional and customer-focused. Able to work effectively with colleagues, contractors and supervisors.
