This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled civil supervisor with experience working on HV substations and utility infrastructure . You will lead a small gang carrying out a variety of civil engineering activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience within the utilities or power sector, and the relevant National Grid and HSG47 accreditations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate a civil gang undertaking daily site activities. Carry out installations of: Surface water drainage Foul water drainage Oily water drainage LV ducting and draw pits HV ducting LV and HV precast troughing Oversee excavation works and installation of blinding and concrete foundations. Manage excavation reinstatement, including backfilling and compaction. Undertake safe digging activities in accordance with HSG47 guidance. Marshal vehicles and safely bank excavators and site plant.
