Ability to work independently and adapt to different repair requirements. Knowledge of building maintenance, materials, tools and safe working practices. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery, or a relevant recognised trade qualification. Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo a DBS check. Previous fire door experience and relevant Health & Safety qualifications would be advantageous. The Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative will receive a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform and PPE, plus a range of additional benefits including life insurance, sick pay after a length of service, employee wellbeing support and a pension scheme, must live within a 20 mile radius of Fareham.
