Skilled Operative
Location: Derby DE65
Rate: £220 per day (Umbrella PAYE)
Start Date: 10th August 2026
Duration: Approximately 6 weeks
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Skilled Operative who also holds Dumper and Slinger/Signaller tickets to join a busy civil engineering project in Derby.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card
- CPCS or NPORS Dumper Ticket
- CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller Ticket
- Previous experience on civil engineering or utilities projects
- Experience working around drainage, excavations and heavy plant
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- Start date: 10.08.2026
Duties:
- Operating a dumper when required
- Carrying out slinger/signaller duties
- Assisting with general civil engineering and groundwork activities
- Supporting excavation, drainage and utility installation works
- Working safely alongside plant and lifting operations
This is an immediate start on a busy infrastructure project, offering approximately six weeks' work with the potential for further opportunities.
