Job Description

Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join our delivery team based out of our Port Solent office, supporting projects across the Southern region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in the water industry to lead the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You'll be responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion and demonstrate our core values: Respect, Integrity, Responsibility and Excellence.
  • Manage the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from start to finish.
  • Lead Site Managers, Engineers and project delivery teams to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) standards.
  • Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs and commercial performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Chair project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and senior management.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate project risks to minimise delays and maintain programme.
  • Coordinate resources, plant, materials and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.
  • Work closely with design and commercial teams to deliver practical and cost-effective solutions.
  • Support the development and mentoring of project teams.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a proven background delivering projects within the water sector. You'll be an organised and proactive leader with excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous Project Management experience within the water industry.
  • SMSTS.
  • CSCS Manager Card.
  • APM PMQ (or equivalent project management qualification).
  • Strong understanding of CDM Regulations.
  • Good commercial awareness and budget management experience.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • EUSR Water Hygiene.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project or similar planning software.
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts.
