Senior Site Manager I've been tasked to find a Senior Site Manager for a reputable main contractor on a freelance basis. It is an immediate start and will finish in Feb '28. The project is a new build school worth circa 80m, including a new car park. It consists of building a primary school, secondary school and sixth form. You will building from the start to finishing including, piling, steel frame structure, facade, roofing and then fit out. The school is steel frame with a brick work fa ade. Once the external packages are completed you will be required to fit out the classrooms etc. You'll be reporting to an on site Senior Project Manager and work in alongside another permanently employed Senior Site Manager. Requirements for Senior Site Manager SMSTS CSCS First Aid at Work Responsibilities for the Senior Site Manager Attending and contributing in contractor pre start meetings. Attending and contributing in design team meetings. Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes. Attending safe starts. Approving RAMS. Attending DABS and contributing to the meeting, discussing coordination with other trades. If necessary taking the meeting, issuing the DABS report to all other team members. Enforcing H&S on site. Identifying potential problems, offering buildability solutions. Someone who is tech savvy. Someone who can engage with the supply chain and other team members. FBR are working closely with a recognised Hampshire based building envelope contractor seeking a full time Procurement Manager to head up their buying team. The Role; Lead and manage all procurement activities across the business, ensuring materials are sourced competitively while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance and programme delivery. Working closely with Estimating, Design, Commercial and Project Delivery teams, you will build long-term supplier relationships, negotiate best value agreements and ensure materials are available when projects need them. This is a strategic and hands-on role, playing a key part in delivering complex façade and remediation projects. Key Responsibilities; Procurement Strategy Develop and implement procurement strategies across all divisions. Source specialist façade systems, glazing, aluminium, cladding, fire remediation products and associated materials. Continuously review supplier performance and market trends. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or programme. Build strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers Develop framework agreements and preferred supplier partnerships. Monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery. Carry out supplier evaluations and approvals. Project Procurement Review project specifications and procurement schedules. Procure materials in accordance with project programmes.
