Administrator
Location: Warrington
Rate: £130 - £150 per day PAYE
A leading construction contractor is looking to appoint an organised and proactive Administrator to join their busy team in Warrington on a long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business, providing essential administrative support and helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will have previous administration experience, excellent organisational skills, experience managing training records and holiday planning, and must hold active SC Clearance. Experience supporting teams within a fast-paced, regulated environment would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update the company training matrix, ensuring employee certifications, mandatory training, and compliance records remain accurate and up to date.
Coordinate and book internal and external training courses.
Monitor training expiry dates and liaise with managers to arrange refresher training where required.
Manage the company holiday planner, recording annual leave and ensuring appropriate team cover.
Provide general administrative support to the wider business and project teams.
Maintain accurate employee records, databases, and documentation.
Manage incoming emails, telephone calls, and general enquiries professionally.
Support with diary management, meeting coordination, and scheduling where required.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation using Microsoft Office.
Assist with onboarding processes and maintaining induction records.
Support the ordering of office supplies and general office administration.
Ensure company documentation is maintained accurately, confidentially, and in line with company procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience in an Administration, Office Support, or Coordinator role.
Active SC Clearance is essential.
Experience maintaining a training matrix is essential.
Experience managing a holiday planner or coordinating annual leave records.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a busy environment.
Experience working within construction, engineering, defence, infrastructure, or other regulated sectors would be advantageous.
