Your new company A long-established M&E contractor is seeking a Mechanical Contracts Manager to take the lead on a flagship healthcare project in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project leader who enjoys taking ownership of large-scale M&E projects from award through to completion. Following the delivery of the Belfast project, you'll have the opportunity to support a range of high-profile projects across Northern Ireland. No mainland GB travel is required. Your new role Working closely with the Operations Manager and wider project team, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical building services packages, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You'll oversee all aspects of project delivery including planning, commercial performance, subcontractor management, client liaison, commissioning and final handover. What you'll need to succeed HND in Mechanical Engineering or a recognised mechanical trade qualification. At least three years' experience in a Mechanical Contracts Manager or similar role. Proven M&E project delivery experience on large-scale construction projects. Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial, cleanroom, data centre or other technically demanding environments. A track record of delivering projects from start to finish, including planning, financial control, reporting, subcontractor management, commissioning and handover. Strong commercial awareness and experience working alongside Quantity Surveyors to manage project performance. Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services installations. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
