Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious), 3+ Years PQE, Bristol, £70,000+ (DOE) - This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with a strong contentious construction background to work on a broad range of challenging disputes while developing their career within a collaborative and supportive team. REF:4684
THE ROLE:
• Working alongside recognised specialists, you'll advise an impressive portfolio of clients on significant construction and infrastructure matters across a variety of sectors, with exposure to some of the most interesting disputes in the market.
• This impressive Construction team acts for clients throughout the UK and internationally, advising organisations across both the public and private sectors.
• Their client base includes developers, contractors, local authorities, funders, multinational businesses and major listed companies operating in sectors such as energy and renewables, commercial development, housing, retail, infrastructure and waste.
• You will be responsible for adjudications, court proceedings and arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, claims involving payment, delay, defects and professional negligence and contract interpretation, project risk management and dispute avoidance.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Construction Solicitors with a minimum of 3 Years PQE specialising in contentious construction law and a genuine enthusiasm for the construction and infrastructure sector.
• Knowledge of adjudication and court litigation, with experience of arbitration or other ADR processes being advantageous.
• Familiarity with standard form construction contracts, including JCT and NEC suites, together with professional appointments.
• Strong technical ability combined with commercial judgement and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to advise clients directly.
• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach and the ambition to contribute to the continued growth of the team.
