Lead Site Joiner

Doncaster c 40,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Site Joiner to support the delivery of modular construction projects across England and Wales.

This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for supervising joinery and construction activities on site, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will work closely with Project Managers, Customers, Purchasing, Design, and Operations teams from project start through to handover.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise joinery and general construction works on site.
  • Prepare material take-offs to support purchasing and planning.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, ensuring requirements, materials, and schedules are in place.
  • Work closely with Project Managers throughout project delivery.
  • Identify and escalate risks affecting cost, programme, quality, or safety.
  • Maintain accurate site records, surveys, and photographic reports.
  • Promote high standards of workmanship, site organisation, and health & safety.


About You

You will have:

  • Experience in site joinery, construction, or site supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of timber frame construction and joinery.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
  • Confidence using digital reporting and documentation systems.


Desirable

  • Experience producing material take-offs.
  • Knowledge of drainage, service connections, and domestic construction works.
  • SSSTS or similar site supervision qualification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
