We are currently recruiting a Commercial Plumber to join one of our prestigious client in Cambridge:
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent


An established building services and maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to join its growing team, covering sites across East Anglia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plumber with experience working on commercial plumbing and mechanical services to join a well-established business offering long-term stability, varied work, and career progression.

The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, installations, fault-finding, and reactive repairs on a wide range of commercial plumbing and mechanical systems across commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
Diagnose and repair faults on domestic and commercial water services
Install and replace sanitaryware, pipework, valves, pumps, and associated plumbing equipment
Carry out repairs to hot and cold water systems, boosted water services, and drainage systems
Install and maintain plant room pipework and associated mechanical equipment
Complete job reports and maintenance records using a tablet-based system
Participate in the on-call rota as required

Requirements
Proven experience as a Commercial Plumber
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
Experience working on commercial building services and mechanical systems
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Due to the nature of some contracts, applicants must be eligible to undergo security screening and pass relevant background checks.

£45,000 - £55,000 basic salary depending on experience and hours worked
