Job Description

Site manager

Unity Recruitment are looking for an experienced Site Manager.

Below is a list of nominal requirements, please note that job is not limited to:

Attend site on time.
Working alongside Operations Team making sure that works are carried out safely and to a high standard.
See operatives in on their first day on site.
Oversee the day to day running of a site(-s) and update/report to line manager on a regular basis.
Apply for required permits and close these on a daily basis.
Control and implement health and safety on site(-s). Carry out safety inspections and issue to the client and management on a weekly basis (weekly safety paperwork).
Manage quality control and carry out handovers of finished works/areas in a timely manner.
Co-ordinate site(-s) activities in line with programme sequence and report to line manager if any issues
Work with procurement team to help scheduling materials and deliveries in accordance with the programme of works. See delivery of materials in (if required, prior to operatives are on site).
Liaise with client and provide one point of contact for a project(-s).
Attend progress meetings on a regular basis along with management.
Produce a weekly site report on Fieldwire app (training for use to be provided).
Keep a daily site diary and record of operatives attended site and work that was carried out.
Notify senior management as soon as possible (or safe to do so) of any issues.
Prior to leaving site make sure that everything has been left in a safe manner, materials have been secured, etc.

Our essential requirements are:

NVQ Level 5, 6 or 7 in Construction Site Management (or equivalent)
Black CSCS Card
SMSTS
Sites are primarily London-based
A full UK driving licence is preferred, as travel between sites may be required
