Duties: Assist Site Agent in project delivery to target Daily briefings with workforce Deliver HSE toolbox talks H&S audits and briefings on site Direct multiple gangs in daily site activity Briefing and amending RAMS Plant checks & permits Involvement with progress meetings Experience required: Must have proven experience as Site Supervisor or General Foreman in heavy civil engineering Must be fully confident with putting direct labour to work Must have experience with: toolbox talks, briefings, H&S checks, plant checks etc. Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree) Must hold: CSCS card, SSSTS and full UK driving license Pay: A rate of up to 330 per day (doe). Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Freelance General Foreman on behalf of a reputable civil engineering contractor to work on an upcoming water infrastructure project near Leeds. The initial multi-million scheme will encompass a wide heavy civils package - including deep drainage, earthworks, re-enforced concrete works, pumping stations, pipework, road construction and groundworks. A key project for Yorkshire Water as part of their AMP8 framework. Duration: General Foreman needed for at least 12 months. Further work across West & South Yorkshire so potential for ongoing extension.
